Mont Blanc Circuit guided or self guided
Mont Blanc Circuit is operated as a self guided or guided walk, several itinerary options are available however below is an example of a self guided TMB starting in Les Houches finishes in Chamonix and covers almost the entire circuit. It includes the start through Les Contamines Nature Reserve and finishes the Mont Blanc Circuit on a high with two days walking in the Aiguilles Rouges, which give the best views of the Mont Blanc Massif.
Enjoy the Mont Blanc Circuit as you taste, see and smell all the different characteristics of the Mount Blanc trek. The scenery Mount Blanc of the massif and surrounding valleys change dramatically as you walk through France, Italy and Switzerland on our Mont Blanc Circuit and enjoying the cuisine of each country is one of the highlights of the trek. We stay in mountain huts, refuges and gîtes during the walk share accommodation.
Gear you will only need light sleeping bags (depending on departure dates) whilst walking the Mont Blanc circuit as sleeping in hostels, albergues, refuge, minimum clothing to keep backpacks light! However it can jet cold up high even in June/July food can be purchased along the way…
This is an easier version than doing the full 14 day hike including into and out of Chamonix with its steep climbs we end the walk with a cable car into Chamonix! A fantastic visual end to our Mont Blanc circuit
